Locals stand guard at Campbell River cenotaph

A few of Campbell River’s retired members of the military and RCMP gathered at the local Cenotaph on Saturday to stand guard.

Sean Smith, who is a retired military member says he asked locals who are retired from either force to pay tribute to the two soldiers killed last week by standing guard from 10 till 11 am.

Smith says members of the army, navy, air force and the RCMP were represented.
