The Transportation Safety Board are working to identify some of the causes and contributing factors of the sinking of a landing craft which killed two of the three people on board on October 18 North of Campbell River.
Senior Marine Investigator Glenn Budden was in Campbell River to do interviews and get evidence from the RCMP late last week.
He says they are still in a preliminary investigation mode.
Budden says says the wheels are in motion.
Budden says various agencies are now in talks about potentially bringing the vessel to the surface, right now it is still on the sea floor.
