Parents will soon get that $40 a day payment the BC government committed to during the teachers strike

Parents of public school kids who signed up for the Temporary Education Support Payment program back in September will be getting their cheques soon.
A press release from the BC Government says the money that was announced to help parents through the teacher’s strike and lockout is now on its way.
The payments of $40 a day for parents with kids 12 and younger applies to the first 13 school days of September until teachers ratified their collective agreement.
