Campbell River’s museum is getting some major attention, it has been named one of the top 10 museums in Canada by Trip Advisor Canada.
Sandra Perish executive director of the museum at Campbell River says they are in that top 10 along with the Royal BC museum in Victoria, the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa and the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau to name a few.
Perish says they get about 30 thousand visitors a year at the Museum at Campbell River every year.
She says they are expecting a few more visitors to come through next year especially in the summer season.
She says it is very exciting to get this recognition from Trip Advisor users.
