Campbell River students getting lifesaving skills

Minutes can make the difference between life and death when somebody suffers a heart attack, says the Executive Director of the ACT foundation.

Sandra Clarke says that is why her group is working to get more people training in CPR and how to use a defibrillator.

They are doing this by training high school teachers to in turn teach their students these skills.

In Campbell River nine teachers from Timberline and Carihi have just gotten the training and will be starting a program to teach local students.
