New Manager for Destination Think

Someone new will be managing marketing Tourism Campbell River.

Destination Think has hired Kirsten Soder as their executive manager of destination marketing.

City Economic Development Officer Rose Klukas says Soder’s past has prepared her well for this new position.

“Kirsten comes to us from Tourism Tofino, where she is the executive director, so she comes with a lot of experience.”

Soder’s first duties include getting acclimated to town and developing a good relationship with the tourism stakeholder, something Klukas states “will give her a strong foundation and understanding to develop marketing strategies” for Campbell River.
