Environment Canada is forecasting highs close to 30 degrees and tomorrow.
A special weather statement has been issued as a ridge of high pressure brings a heat wave to the BC coast.
Spokesperson Cindy Yu says as we head into next week, things will be cooling off.
“We actually have a trough of low pressure passing through BC, mid-next week.”
“For those in southern BC, we’ll see temperatures dropping into the low twenties, but again, we are still expecting some sun in the forecast.”
Yu says in weather like this, it’s important to be cautious, especially if you’re working outdoors.
