Campbell River RCMP is looking for the public’s help in regards to a recent assault.
Staff Sergeant Troy Beauregard says early morning last Saturday morning, officers responded to a downtown property to find a man brutally beaten.
“Around 1 am, we (RCMP Members, BC Ambulance and Campbell River Fire) responded to a report of an injured male in the parking lot of a building in the 900 block of 14th Avenue. Upon arrival, first responders located a male suffering from serious injuries.”
The man was transported to hospital and is in serious, but stable conditions.
Beauregard notes police do a few leads, and believes this was a targeted attack.
