The Campbellton Neighbourhood Association is getting $15,000.
It’s coming from a FortisBC Community Giving grant.
The money will go towards the first phase of the Rescue the River project which will see a “view corridor” built along the Campbell River from Maple Street to the Tamarack Bridge.
The Campbellton Neighbourhood Association is a non-profit society formed in 2012 of citizens and business owners interested in urban renewal.
The grant announcement was made at the Union of BC Municipalities Convention in Vancouver last night.
