Government looking for feedback on proposed grizzly hunt changes

The provincial government wants to hear your thoughts on proposed grizzly bear regulations.

Last month it announced that trophy hunting of grizzlies, as well as all hunting of the animals in the Great Bear Rainforest, will be coming to an end. The ban goes into effect on November 30^th.

The government is looking for feedback on issues such as changes that will prohibit the possession of “trophy” grizzly bear parts and new reporting requirements for taxidermists.
