Poison Hemlock Making Its Way Up the Island

Invasive species continue to run rampant all across Vancouver Island.

Don Hare with the Coastal Invasive Species Committee says poison hemlock seems to be making its way up to the North Island from down in Victoria.

Hare says the plant can cause breathing problems. He adds that if you spot poison hemlock you shouldn’t touch or even go near it.
