Have Your Say on Recreational Pot Regulations

There’s still time to have your say on how British Columbia should regulate the use of non-medical cannabis when the Federal government makes it legal next July.

The Province is aiming to build a provincial regulatory framework for the recreational use of marijuana that prioritizes the protection of young people, health and safety, locking criminals out of the industry, and keeping roads safe.

If you want to ensure your voice is heard on issues like minimum age, personal possession limits, consumption in public, drug-impaired driving, personal cultivation, distribution and retail models, you can go to the Province’s consultation page and fill out the questionnaire.

More than 30,000 residents have already submitted their feedback.

To participate in the survey go to: http://engage.gov.bc.ca/BCcannabisregulation/.
