Knights of Columbus Christmas Hampers back for 44th year

The Knights of Columbus’ Community Christmas Hamper Fund is back for another year. This marks the 44th year for the Campbell River tradition.

The hampers have lots of food, toys for children and gifts for seniors in them. They’re not only for the most vulnerable people in the city as the Knights say plenty of hampers go to the working poor.

This year the hamper office is at 1414 Ironwood Street next to the UPS Store. It opens next Wednesday which is when you’ll be able to start bringing donations.

Applications to get a hamper have to be in by December 5th. You can find more details about how to apply for one at this website.
