Downtown mural getting official unveiling next week

The new mural in downtown Campbell River is all finished. There’s going to be an official unveiling for the piece next week.

It was painted by local artist Alex Witcombe. He’ll be on hand along with Mayor Andy Adams at the unveiling. The city says the project has taken several years to come to fruition and is a “stunning and dynamic” addition to the downtown.

The official unveiling is happening at the corner of 11th Avenue and Shoppers Row next Tuesday at noon.
