Campbell River to see an increase in user fees

Service fees in Campbell River are going up.

City council gave the first three readings to proposed increases for water, sewer, storm water, garbage and recycling fees at Monday’s meeting.

The city says the increases are consistent with its Financial Stability & Resiliency Program. That program aims to give Campbell River long-term service delivery with stable and incremental tax and fee increases.

Households would see a $39 increase next year with annual increases of $42 from 2019 to 2022.
