Family of owner of derelict vessel sought

Discovery Harbour Marina says it needs to find the family of Gary Geisel. Geisel passed away earlier this year but his boat is still moored there.

The 54-foot Tanu Warrior is a commercial fishing boat. Kenzie Malone with the marina says they’ve been trying to get a hold of family members so that they can claim the boat.

If none come forward it’ll become the marina’s property through the Repairers Lien Act after its two week listing period comes to an end. You can get in touch with Malone by calling Discovery Harbour Marina at 250-287-2614 or emailing kenzie@discoveryharbourmarina.com.
