About 2,200 BC Hydro customers were without power Wednesday

Over 2 thousand BC Hydro customers in Campbell River and Quadra Island were without power for a few hours Wednesday afternoon

 

BC Hydro Spokesperson Karla Lowers says crews were able to get power restored after fixing their equipment on 13th avenue near Shoppers row.

 

She explains what happened.

 

 

Lowers says there was some arcing when the power went out.
