The Cortes Island Firefighting Association is getting some provincial money. It’s one of 60 not-for-profits across British Columbia in line for a Community Gaming Grant.
The grant is worth $90,000 and will go towards renovating the fire hall. In total the province is handing out $5 million for capital projects in the first yearly intake of the grants. You can see all the grants for yourself at the BC Government’s website.
