A tip from the public has helped RCMP recover a $10,000 mobility scooter that was stolen from Rivercity Mobility last week.
Police are recommending charges of theft against a Campbell River man who is currently in custody.
RCMP corporal Poppy Hallam says the tip came from somebody who recognized the suspect and the scooter which lead police to the man’s house.
