No one was hurt in a house fire in Campbell River. It happened yesterday morning on Masters Road.
Deputy Chief Thomas Doherty says crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear of the house. They were able to put the fire out and keep it from spreading.
Although no people were in the house two pets did perish in the blaze. An investigation into the cause is underway. There’s no estimate on how much damage was done.
