CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C.-There are two rounds of closures coming up for the Canyon View Trail. They’ll be in place where it passes through the Station View Trail.
BC Hydro spokesperson Stephen Watson says it’s because of ongoing work on the John Hart generating station:
As for the John Hart project itself, Watson says it’s coming along nicely:
Watson added the project is within budget and on-schedule to be finished around October.
During the closures you’ll still be able to walk the Canyon View Trail on either side of the Campbell River, but the loop will not be in place. The first closure starts tomorrow and runs until next Tuesday from 6:00am to 6:00pm each day. The second runs from from March 26th to April 6th.
