CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C.- The Campbell River Storm are moving onto the second round of the VIJHL playoffs.
The Storm beat the Peninsula Panthers last night at the Rod Brind’Amour Arena 5-4 in Game 5 to take the opening round series four games to one.
The Storm utterly dominated the series, outscoring the Panthers 24-8. The Storm shut the Panthers out in Games 1 and 2. They’ll face the winner of the Victoria-Westshore series in the semi-finals.
