North Island powder hounds are going to have to wait for mother nature to bring a big dump of snow over to Mount Cain.
President Neil Borecky says they have temporarily shut down the skiing and boarding operations at Mount Cain.
He says they need another 40 to 50 centimeters of snow to re-open.
