CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C.-The Campbell River Emergency Support Services Team needs a few good people. It’s hosting an open house next week for anyone interesting in volunteering.
Right now there are about 50 people on the team. Emergency Social Services Director Kathryn Alexander says the team provides an important service in the event of an emergency:

Next week’s open house is happening on Monday at the Campbell River Search and Rescue, 261 Larwood Road from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
