CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C.-It’s now do or die for the Campbell River Storm.
The Saanich Braves took a 3-2 series lead in the VIJHL finals last night after besting the Storm 5-4 at the Rod Brind’Amour Arena.
The game had been tied 3-3 heading into the third but the Braves scored early and mid-period and were able to hold onto that lead until the end.
Game Six goes Friday in Saanich at 6:30pm. If the Storm can tie the series back up then Game Seven will be in Campbell River on Saturday at 5:00pm.
