CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C.-BC Liquor Stores says it’s thrilled with the amount of donations it’s gotten for this year’s Support Dry Grad campaign.
Across the province more than $278,000 was raised last month. Here in Campbell River the downtown and Willow Point stores raised a combined $2001.
Support Dry Grad funds alcohol-free graduation events for Grade 12 students organized by students, parents, and schools. BC Liquor Stores says all the donations stay in the school district in which they were collected.
Support Dry Grad has raised more than $6.77 million dollars since it started in 2001.
