Last year’s decrease in BC ferries sailings between Port Hardy and Prince RupertĀ is being seen as one of the factors behind a 30 percent drop in visitors to Port Hardy in 2014.
Angela Smith the Executive Director of the Port Hardy Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center says it was a combination of factors.
Smith says her team is working hard to mitigate some of those factors for 2015 and says Port Hardy remains a beautiful place to visit.
