CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C.-The search for a wanted man in the Crawford Road area came to an end in the driveway of a Mclelan Road home.
The Campbell River RCMP was looking for the man for several hours this afternoon. He was caught around 5:30pm with the help of a K9 unit, across from Ocean Grove Elementary School.
When asked, the arresting officer said there was a warrant for the man’s arrest, but that he couldn’t share any more information. After several minutes a marked RCMP SUV showed up to take the suspect away.
There’s no word yet on the man’s name or why there was a warrant for his arrest. 2Day FM has reached out to the Campbell River RCMP for further details.
