A couple earthquakes hit in the ocean on the west coast of Vancouver Island Wednesday night.
The biggest was a 6.7 quake that the US Geological Survey reports was 92 kilometers South of Port Hardy at 8:10 p.m.
That was felt throughout the Island and some reports say people in Vancouver felt it too.
At 8:20 p.m. a further 5.0 quake is being reported by the US Geological Survey to have happened 95 kilometers South of Port Hardy.
Finally at 8:41 a 4.2 quake was measured 98 kilometers south of Port Hardy.
There are no tsunami watches, warnings or advisories at this time.
