RCMP on Texada Island are investigating after a boat carrying two passengers sank in the Straight of Georgia on Saturday night.
Officials are now say a body recovered on Texada Island, Sunday belongs to a man who had been on the boat.
The other passenger, a woman, was able to survive.
Lieutenant Paul Pendergast from CFB Comox, Coast Guard says a woman in her 30’s managed to swim hours to safety.
Pendergast says the woman was taken to hospital with hypothermia.
