Gold River helicopter crash investigation continues

The wreckage of the helicopter that crashed near Gold River is set to be moved to a secure location today, says Bill Yearwood from the Transportation Safety Board.

He says they are not sending in an investigation team right now.

Yearwood says the pilot had back pain after the crash and is being checked out.

The three other passengers, loggers heading to a heli logging operation, were able to get out of the chopper without serious injuries.

The helicopter suffered, what Yearwood calls, a hard landing after having problems during takeoff. It is owned by Black Tusk Helicopter.
