“Wonderful” turnout at Campbell River Terry Fox Run despite rain

STORY BY TWILA AMATO, MyCampbellRiverNow.com

CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. – It was chilly and rainy over the weekend but according to Terry Fox Run co-organizer Tanya Flood, a fair amount of people showed up and raised nearly $6000 for cancer research.

Flood says this is a great result, considering the weather.

Flood, along with her husband and student volunteers from Carihi Sports Leadership organized the 10km run, which started off at Willow Point’s Frank James Park.
