Council decides to submit 19A project to the Build Canada Fund

Council is turning to the Federal Government to help fund upgrades along highway 19A.

 

They are submitting the project to the Build Canada Fund, and if approved 33% of the project could be federally funded.

 

Mayor Andy Adams.

Adams says the section is from the Big Rock Boat Ramp to a point just South of Rockland Road.

 

He says the project budget is between 9 to 10 million dollars and if they get the grant funding the municipality will fund the rest of the project from sewer and water reserve accounts.
