CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. – Power is still out in several places due to yesterday’s storm event.
Power has been restored to most of the places affected by outages yesterday, including large areas on Quadra Island.
Currently, there are still outages and crews have been assigned to restore power. About 212 residents do not have power in Cortes Island, Bold Point in Quadra Island, Mansons Landing and Squirrel Cove.
68 residents do not have power in Gold River. Zeballos also experienced an outage, but there are no crews assigned to attend to the area yet.
There is no word yet on when power will be restored.
