CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. – There are slight changes to the curbside waste collection schedule.
According to a post from Emterra Group, Tuesday and Wednesday garbage and recycling pick-up will occur on Wednesdays starting this week and January 2nd.
From now until January 11th, 2019, each household are allowed to put out an extra untagged container for a total of two containers for collection.
Items that will not be collected for curbside recycling include plastic gift wraps, styrofoam packaging, lights, toys and batteries.
Residents who wish to get rid of these items should bring them to the Island Return It Centre or to the Campbell River Waste Management Centre.
