CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. – School District 72 will not be having a snow day.
Schools are open in Campbell River and classes will proceed as usual.
Yesterday’s heavy snow closed Highway 19 for part of the day, and forced class cancellations at the Campbell River and Comox Valley North Island College campuses.
North Island College is open today.
Down in the Comox Valley, several schools in the district are closed due to lack of power.
No more snow is expected today.
