Chalk another one up for Campbell River Search and Rescue crews.
At around noon on Sunday, crews were called out to help BC Ambulance crews with a medical evacuation from Ripple Rock Trail.
A 63-year-old man had fallen and suffered chest injuries.
Once crews arrived they found the hiker laying on the beach at Nymph Cove.
Both coast guard and helicopter crews were called in.
