Local Tim Hortons owners are one step closer to opening up a location in Willow Point, as they’ve just been granted a major development permit by City Council for 2072 South Island Highway.
Council concerned about area residents asked owner Dave Paquin about the noise from the drive through, he says the microphone and speaker technology has greatly improved over the past decades.
As part of the development they will be required to get a qualified environmental professional to help remove scotch broom, blackberry and knotweed from the property.
