Changes to transit service over the Easter long weekend

CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. – There will be a few service changes for Campbell River transit over the Easter long weekend.

On April 19th (Good Friday), there will be no transit service available.

On April 22nd (Easter Monday), service will be back on but on the usual Monday schedule.

This means that for the #1 to Campbellton, the bus will be at Erickson and Hwy 19A by 6:35 a.m. for its first stop and proceed from there. The #1 going to Willow Point will be at 16th Ave and Hwy 19 by 7:10 a.m.

The first bus on the #2 route in both directions will be available at 6:55 a.m.

The first bus on the #3 route going to Willow Point will be available at 6:12 a.m., and the first #3 bus going to Discovery Mall will be available at 7:30 a.m.

The #4 to Campbellton will be available at 6:40 a.m.

The #6 to Oyster River will be available at 6:25 a.m., and the first #6 heading to Willow Point will be at 6:45 a.m.

The #7 Petersen AM loop will start a new schedule on April 22nd. The new AM loop will start at 6:58 a.m., with the PM loop starting at 12:55 p.m. Previously, the AM loop started at 7:00 a.m. and the PM loop started at 12:50 p.m.

The first #8 trip to North Island College will be at 7:43 a.m., and the first trip to Campbellton will be at 10:25 a.m.

The first #15 trip to North Island College will be at 8:32 a.m., and the first trip to Homalco will be at 8:25 a.m.
