Habitat welcomes more families to new homes

CAMPBELL RIVER, BC – Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North continues to be busy.

Next Tuesday, it will be welcoming two families into new homes. These families will be the fifth and sixth to be welcomed to the 477 Hilchey Road build.

2019 continues Habitat VIN’s trend from last year, with two builds happening at the same time in Courtenay and Campbell River.  The goal is to provide 21 homes by 2020.

Habitat VIN’s development at Hilchey will have a total of 11 families.

A key ceremony was held in Courtenay today.

Tuesday’s key ceremony starts at 10:00am and will be followed by a community barbecue at 477 Hilchey Road.
