If you’re interested in finding out more about the Harper government’s proposed Bill C-51, there’s an information meeting in Courtenay tomorrow night.
It goes at the Native Sons Hall and is organized in part by the Comox Valley Peace Group and the Campbell River/Courtenay & District Labour Council, as well as Valley resident Barb Biley.
We caught up with Biley and she touches on some of the effects the Bill would have on Canadians.
Here’s a little bit of what you can expect at the meeting.
The Bill is currenty under review by a House of Commons committee.
The meeting at Native Sons Hall starts at 7. The Hall is located in downtown Courtenay on Cliffe Avenue.
