Awatin Aboriginal Arts broken into

Awatin Aboriginal Arts has been broken into early on Friday morning.

The store suffered from another break-in incident in early February. A traditional cedar hat was stolen at that time.

That break-in resulted in damaging a $4000 door designed by Quadra Island artist Michael Price, as well as another print. 

According to another media report, the break-in suspect stole jewelry and fled the scene a minute after entering the store.
