Theft from vehicles in Campbell River, Strathcona Park

There has been a rash of thefts from vehicles this month, according to Campbell River Crime Stoppers.

Since early September, Crime Stoppers says there have been numerous thefts from vehicles around Campbell River, as well as the Strathcona Park area, especially in remote trailhead parking areas. 

The RCMP and Crime Stoppers are now looking for a vehicle they believe is connected to the thefts. They say the vehicle is a 2009 or earlier Chevrolet Trailblazer. The vehicle possibly has stolen BC plates JA848R. 

Police and Crime Stoppers ask those who have information on the incidents or the vehicle are asked to call the Campbell River RCMP at 250-286-6221. For anonymous tips, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
