Chalk one up for generosity.
This year’s Live Streets Chalkfest community group winners have donated their $500 prize to the Campbell River and North Island Transition Society.
The society’s Val Puetz says that they were delighted to receive the donation from the Campbell River Green Team.
Puetz says the funds will support the society’s new weekend children’s lunch program that helps build life skills through supervised cooking and learning about nutritious food.
