The area around South Alder near Niluht is now open.
But the City of Campbell River is asking drivers to be careful. Crews are still cleaning up in the area after yesterday’s flooding caused by a water main break.
The city says the surface is rough in some areas and that planning for road repair and further work on the water main is now underway.
The city reminds residents whose properties were damaged to contact their insurance company right away to begin assessment and repairs as soon as possible.
