Campbell River Crime Stoppers once again issued a warning that counterfeit US$100 bills are circulating town.
Crime Stoppers is raising awareness to anyone that owns or operates a business, or anyone that deals with money in any way.
If in doubt as to a bills legitimacy, do not hesitate to refuse the $100 U.S. note or ask customers to exchange it at the bank.
Please call police or submit a secure tip to Crime Stoppers if you have any information about suspects passing these bills.
