2day FM is proud to team up with the Knights Of Columbus for the 46th annual Community Christmas Hamper Fund.
Delivery day for the hampers is quickly approaching.
All are welcome to come out and volunteer for hamper shopping on Friday, Dec. 20th and hamper deliveries on Saturday, Dec. 21st.
There is no volunteer sign-up sheet, just arrive ready to lend a helping hand this holiday season.
On Friday afternoon, hamper shopping will take place at the former Target store at Discovery Harbour Shopping Centre.
Volunteers will be asked to walk around the store with a shopping cart while choosing from donated items to assemble the first 200 hampers.
On Saturday, volunteers are asked to arrive at the loading dock of the former Target at 8:00 am with an SUV or truck to deliver hampers throughout Campbell River.
Organizers will be on-site marshalling vehicles into the area.
