The Campbell River Chamber of Commerce is acknowledging the excellence and success found within the local community.
The chamber is accepting nominations for its Business Awards of Distinction until midnight Tuesday, Dec. 31st.
“All businesses, organizations, and individuals within the Campbell River and Strathcona Regional District area are eligible,” says the Chamber of Commerce. “Self-nominating yourself or your business is encouraged as it is a great way to recognize and celebrate your success with your team and with the Campbell River community as a whole.”
Businesses, organizations, or individuals can be nominated in as many award categories for which they are considered qualified.
The chamber says the nomination process allows for the celebration and recognition of community leaders.
“Our local businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs are the backbone of our economy and we would like to encourage everyone to take a minute to show your appreciation and send in a nomination.”
Nominees will be contacted by the chamber to accept their nomination before moving forward to a judging process.
Finalists will be announced on Feb. 1st at the Celebration Gala held at the Campbell River Community Centre.
