The Campbell River Professional Firefighters Local 1668 will be helping to safely dispose of Christmas trees tomorrow.
The annual Christmas tree chipping event is aimed at helping to reduce waste and fire risks.
Scheduled from 10 am till 4 pm, tree chipping will take place in the lower parking lot of the Campbell River Sportsplex.
Donations of any size are accepted, with all proceeds going to the Burn Fund.
The Burn Fund offers support for children and adults who have suffered severe and traumatic burns.
