The BCSPCA is hoping you can help the animals in Australia affected by the fires.

The organization posted to its Facebook page last week explaining that over a billion animals have died, either directly from the flames, from smoke inhalation or loss of food sources and habitat.

It said as an organization it knows first hand the struggles of dealing with wildfires and is hoping residents of B.C will be able to help.

That help can come in many forms but it says the best thing you can do if you want to support the rescue and treatment for animals in Australia is to visit the RSPCA.
